David B. Fye, J.D., is the executive director for the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB), a composite board that licenses mental health professionals, including social workers, psychologists, and others. David is a graduate of Washburn University (Bachelor of Arts in Political Science), Washburn School of Business (Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Management), and Washburn Law School (J.D.). Previously, David served the Kansas legislature for eight years as a principal fiscal analyst for the Kansas Legislative Research Department. As Executive Director for the BSRB, David assists the board in modernizing licensing processes and utilizing fair and legally defensible approaches to public protection.
