Connecting the dots:

How supervision supports regulation, retention, and resilience throughout the career lifespan of a social worker

This session will explore the role of supervision across the stages of professional development, from entry-level social workers to seasoned experts. Using an integrated model of supervision with a lifespan lens, participants will engage in discussions related to the role of supervision in creating a dynamic, ethical, and well-prepared workforce for the future. Strategies will be generated to ensure the sustainability and resilience of future social work practitioners as well as their supervisors. Participants will share information across regulatory jurisdictions to increase collaborative thinking about desired regulation outcomes.
